Ajmer Sharif: The South Asian Conference organized by Maulayat Markaz Ajmer has officially commenced within the sacred premises of the Ajmer Dargah Sharif. The organization, which operates across South Asia, is dedicated to integrating all faiths through the path of Sufism, with a primary mission of promoting universal humanity and the oneness of all religions.
The Message of Unity The conference emphasizes the motto that “all faiths are one.” A significant part of the event included a mass Ziyarat (pilgrimage) to the Maqbara (shrine) of Sheikh Sayyid Muhammad Rahat Ali Bhandari (popularly known as Sakargi Baba), located within the Chahariyari.
Key Highlights and Participants The meeting was held at Hujra Number 80 and was presided over by Sayyid Ghaffar Hussain Faridi Chisti, the President from Ajmer. The gathering saw representation from various Indian states, underscoring the broad reach of the Sufi Islamic Board.

New Appointments During the proceedings, the South Asian Committee announced new leadership roles for representatives from Kerala. Abdulla Koya Jifri Thangal (State President) and Abdul Salam Musliyar Manar (State Secretary) have been elected to the South Asian Committee.
The conference serves as a vital platform for Sufi representatives from across India to discuss the propagation of peace, spiritual unity, and the shared values of humanity.
